MULTI-JURISDICTIONAL HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN (MJHMP) UPDATE
The Stanislaus County Office of Emergency Services (OES), in collaboration with the cities of Ceres, Hughson, Modesto, Newman, Oakdale, Patterson, Riverbank, Turlock, Waterford, and the County Office of Education, is updating the 2022 Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan (MJHMP), and we need your input!
The MJHMP must be updated every five years. The 2022 MJHMP recognized earthquakes, floods, dam inundation, landslides, and wildfires as some of the top local natural hazards. The MJHMP also states mitigation strategies and actions that serve as the long-term blueprint for reducing potential losses.
How to Get Involved:
Residents, organizations, interested stakeholders, and businesses are encouraged to contribute to the planning process. One way to get involved is to take a short public survey designed to gather input on hazards and their mitigation.
Take the Public Survey using the QR code or link below! The survey will be open until October 30, 2025.
